Suicide Prevention Training Programs

The Suicide Prevention Training Programs (SPTP) based in Calgary, Alberta, offers a variety of practical skill development workshops built around adult education principles and current mental health research. These workshops are available to the general public or as a staff in-service training and can be customized to meet the needs of particular groups. Over 50,000 people in Alberta, Canada and around the world have received training from SPTP.
